New Post

I'm very pleased to announce that I have been offered a part-time secondment within Cardiff University School of Medicine to look at how we can make best use of technology to support learning throughout the undergraduate medical course.

I go into this post having learned so much from my personal learning network. In the next few years I hope to keep learning and sharing with you.

Thanks.

  2. We're currently developing online interactive training programmes for in-practice & trainee GPs on the subject of early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. We are doing this alongside the RCGPs. It would be interesting to share thoughts/ideas about using all technologies to educate & inform about this often neglected disease.

  6. Hi Anne Marie

What an interesting and worthwhile role. I'm interested to see how the debate progresses and if I might help the discussion develop. During the last 2 years as Managing Director of onExamination (part of BMJ Learning)I lead a team working with Cardiff University on the Diabetes Diploma (an online distance Postgrad course) and also with the Welsh Deanery on a needs assessment tool for SASG doctors. So I hope I can help....and look forward with interest to the conversation.
    Best Wishes

Congrats on the new role, and here in Edinburgh I'm involved with person-centred medical systems e.g. Patients Know Best and Cloud4Health and also with Mydex CIC, who empower individuals on the web with personal data stores

    Cheers
